Almost 5 stars just because I've hardly sailed in any waves at all this year, and today was rather unexpected!

Easterlies here are normally crap with less wind than it looks, but today was different as there seemed to be more. Nicely powered on a 4.6m, and there were actually some rideably waves (not that I can really do that justice...). Really good fun though, with totally smooth water in-between, and well-spaced waves you could spot from a way out and follow in to play on. Not the usual Shoreham, that's for sure. Surprisingly few out though!

Really too knackered after NWF to make the most of it, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. Probably the best sail of the year, at least for "wavesailing".
